ROCOL Glass Etching

I have been in the glass etching business now, for 12 years. I have spent many hours taking courses in glass etching through my mentors in Santa Fe, to learn a number of different glass etching techniques, from shading, to depth carving to glue chipping. Glue chipping gives glass etching an incredibly unique result that cannot be duplicated. More varied styles of glass etching can be produced from within my studio, but I can also etch on-site for those big non movable pieces.

 John c. Lincoln Hospital nurses

This plaque was given to the nurses who  looked after my Father-in-law when he was in  hospital for a triple by-pass operation.  It was  the least I could do for all their care and  devotion shown  to my Father-In-Law

 Lady in a Glass

For this customer,  several photographs  of what he was  looking for were  presented, and this is  the end result, etched  onto the back side of  a mirror. The photo  does not quite do the  etching justice.

 On-site etching process

This shot is from a class I took  many  years ago, where I learnt  the art of  using the on-site  blaster. I can use this machine  / process to create etchings in your home  or office, so that already installed  glass does not need to be dismantled in order to etch.
